Kids Summer Camp -2013
Your children will have fun and learn something new about painting each day as they develop knowledge about color, composition and brush techniques while using acrylic paints on canvas. Each class has specific objectives and purpose. All POSH Kid Curriculum and classes are developed and taught by professional artists dedicated to fun art education.
Camp Pricing
- Purchase an individual class for $24 (pay at drop-in or the day of reservation)
- Five Class Punch Card for $100 ( $20 per class - prepayment required)
We use actual punch cards, one punch per child for a Summer Camp Class. Use the punch card for any child at any Summer Camp Class. We immediately punch the card for entry to the class. You will need to pay the drop-in rate of $24 at the class if you don't bring your card.
Additional Information for Kid Classes:
- Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes early to help the child with apron, paint and get them comfortable
- Adults have the option of staying with the child during the class or leaving and returning after class
- Children not picked up by 15 minutes after class end time will be charged $5 for each additional fifteen minutes until pick-up
- For the younger children we can pre-sketch or give the child special assistance
- Kids are encouraged to wear old clothes
- Acrylic paint will dry to the touch by end of class but will not become permanent for three hours
Note: For convenience, a painting can be left at POSH for later pick up

Kid Parties
Every child loves to paint and create. We supply all materials and lots of zany fun with age-appropriate painting projects. Our supportive staff and fun art keeps the party exciting and produces results that are inspiring for both kids and parents.
POSH Art Parties are easy for parents, fun for kids and produce a lasting impression. Each child leaves with a canvas with their original art - the best party favor ever. All paintings are dry and ready to take home at the end of the party. Our art teachers are awesome with kids and have an extensive background teaching children.
The cost includes all materials and a professional artist that leads painting activities. We provide a table, paper plates, silverware and cups. Just bring the cake and ice cream.
Additional Information for Kid Parties:
- 6 child minimum for private children parties
- Ages 3 to 15 for all kid painting parties, children younger than 5 will require parental assistance
- Private Kid Parties last two hours. You can take breaks in between for gifts & cake/ice cream as needed
- Parents are responsible for bringing all food and drink of their choice
- Private parties get to pick the painting that the special birthday boy/girl would like to do
- For the younger children you can choose a theme and we can outline
- For children 8 and up choose a painting that will be taught, or for $40 we will create a special painting
- Smaller "kid size" aprons are provided for everyone
- Kids are encouraged to wear old clothes that parents may not mind them getting a little paint on
Party Cost:
We require a $100 non-refundable deposit to reserve your date and time. The additional per child rate is due at the party. The minimum charge is for six painters.
- Rate for 6 to 15 children, $100 non-refundable deposit plus $15 per child
- Rate for 16 to 24 children, $100 non-refundable deposit plus $14 per child
- Rate for 25 plus children, $100 non-refundable deposit plus $13 per child
Parents sometimes want to paint alongside their child. An additional fee of $10 for an adult set-up is assessed to cover the cost of materials.
